This Privacy Policy explains how Fampulse Technologies Private Limited ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use Loquence, our website, and related services.

Loquence is a speaking practice product designed to help users record short speaking responses, receive AI-assisted feedback, and track progress over time.

1. Information we collect

We may collect information that you provide directly, including:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Account and profile details
• Feedback or support messages you send us

We may also collect information generated through your use of Loquence, including:

• Audio recordings you choose to submit
• Transcripts generated from those recordings
• Scores, feedback, and practice history
• Device, browser, app, and log information
• Approximate location based on IP address

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate Loquence
• Create and manage your account
• Process recordings, transcripts, and feedback results
• Improve product quality, reliability, and user experience
• Respond to support requests and communicate important updates
• Monitor performance, prevent abuse, and maintain security
• Comply with legal obligations

3. How we may share information

We may share information with trusted service providers that help us operate Loquence, such as:

• Cloud hosting and storage providers
• Authentication, analytics, and infrastructure providers
• Speech-to-text and AI processing vendors
• Email, SMS, or customer support providers

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

4. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as needed to provide the service, improve the product, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce our agreements.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data, the status of your account, and our legal or operational requirements.

Deleting your account. You can delete your account in the app (Settings, then Delete account and data) or on our account deletion page (requests made there are completed within 72 hours). We then delete your profile, practice history, transcripts, scores, feedback, recordings, custom practice items, CV data and billing records, and our subscription record with RevenueCat. Cost and billing event records are kept with every link to you removed. After deletion we keep no content and no raw account identifier; a one-way hash of the account identifier is kept for 30 days so a repeated request is recognised.

Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription; cancel it in the store. Our processors (AssemblyAI, Anthropic, Sentry, Firebase, MSG91) keep data under their own retention terms, our service logs are kept for up to 30 days, our database keeps an internal version history for up to one hour, and deleted recordings may remain in our storage provider's soft-delete window before they are permanently removed.

5. Your rights and choices

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

• Access the information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
• Opt out of non-essential marketing communications

6. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

Loquence is not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

8. Cookies and analytics

We may use cookies and similar technologies on our website to understand usage, maintain basic functionality, and improve the site experience.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and may provide additional notice where appropriate.
